The Spartans Community Football Academy

Starting today, the Academy will be working together with the SFA to deliver the SFA/McDonalds Coaching Programme (which runs for 20 weeks) in 6 local Primary Schools.  This programme is the latest addition to our Academy School Visit Programme, which continues to develop and grow.

The Academy is delighted to welcome Nikita Crowther, an S4 pupil from Craigroyston Community High School, to our workplace this week, for a one week work experience, our first week long placement of 2010.

IYFA brings together Coaches from some of the world’s  top Clubs to provide expert training for young players and their Coaches.  The IYFA will be delivered each month at SCFA with specialist guest Coaches from Clubs such as AC Milan, SL Benfica, West Ham United and Newcastle United already lined-up, together with training from the ‘world’s number 1 soccer skills teaching method’ and EUFA/FIFA recommended Coerver Coaching.

The monthly sessions take place on the last Sunday of each month from 4-7pm at SCFA, starting on Sunday 28th February.  The cost is £22.50 per month for players and £11.95 per month per Coach.  Spaces are extremely limited on this unique programme.

All matches at the Academy this coming weekend - 9th and 10th January – have been cancelled.

During the extreme weather conditions we are all experiencing just now, we will make a decision by 2pm each day regarding the playability of our 3G pitches.  Each day we will contact our customers direct to advise you of our decision.  Alternatively, please feel free to contact us on 0131-552-7854 before 2pm.

The Academy is delighted to announce we are now taking bookings for our February Holiday Programme, which will take place from Monday 15th February to Friday 19th February inclusive.  Our Programme will consist of:

• Dan’s Dribber’s for aged 3-4 yrs old (from 10am-11am each day), cost for the whole week £25.
• Dan’s Junior Soccer School for aged 5-8 yrs old (from 10am-12pm each day), cost for the whole week £30.
• Dan’s Senior Soccer School for aged 9-14 yrs old (from 10am-12pm each day), cost for the whole week £30.
