Beat the Goalie @ CCHS

Soccer Olympics at St David’s

Academy to host IYFA Clinic

Smiling our way to Success

The Academy is delighted to announce that on the back of the hugely successful pilit of Spartans Smilers at Craigroyston Primary School, sponsored by ATOS Origin, a further 2 schools – namely Forthview and St Davids – have signed up for this 5 week programme, designed for p3 aged primary school children. A Festival of Fun
Written by Sammy on March 8, 2010 – 3:35 am -The Academy was delighted to host our latest Girls U11 4v4 festival in partnership with the SFA on Sunday 7th March. 7 different clubs took part - Polbeth, Musselburgh Windsor, Linlithgow, Craigshill, Hutchison Vale, Whitburn and Spartans. The event was attended by 60 young players, together with lots of encouraging parents.

SFSP in Muirhouse Shopping Centre

Working together with the local Neighbourhood Action Team, the Academy delivered a 2 hr Street Football in a Safe Place session at Muirhouse Shopping Centre last night, between 7.30-9.30pm. The next session - ’same time, same place, same staff’ - will take place on Thursday 11 March.

Levein the Dream

Our latest ’making magic memories’ experience for young people took place last night, when Kenny and Amy took 11 x 14-16 year olds from North Edinburgh through to Hampden, to enjoy the Scotland vs. Czech Republic friendly match. Last night’s Academy starting 11, are all participants on our ‘Street Football in a Safe Place’ free play programme.

Disability Football Roadshow
Written by Sammy on March 2, 2010 – 1:18 pm -The Academy will be hosting a Disability Football Roadshow on Friday 19th March from 2.30pm-4.30pm. The roadshow is designed to give players with a range of Ambulant Disabilities (non wheelchair users) the opportunity to play football with their peers in a safe and fun environment.
The session will be delivered by suitably trained and qualified SFA coaches who will deliver a programme of adapted practices that ensures each player is challenged, whilst having fun. Parents and carers must be in attendance at all times if the players require individual or specialised assistance.

Sunday Sesssion for Azerbaijan
