It’s Snow Play at the Academy

A Festival 4Girls

A Stirling effort from St Davids Half Time Heroes

12 young people from St Davids Primary School (together with Head Teacher Rosemary McMillan) took part in our Half Time Heroes programme on Saturday, where each had the chance to score against our very own Sparry.

Reaching New Levels

A group of young people completed their Level 1 & 2 youth coaching badges at the Academy today.  The group included Academy community coaches and Women’s 1st team player Sarah Ewings.

That All Black Magic

The Academy played host to the world famous New Zealand All Blacks today.  The All Blacks trained here as part of their preparations for this coming weekend’s autumn friendly international vs. Scotland at Murrayfield.

A Brush with Sparry

52 x P3 aged school children at Forthview Primary were presented with their Spartans Smilers oral health programme certificate today, together with their very own personal bag of take-away gifts.  In 2010, the Academy has delivered Spartans Smilers across 4 diferent local Primary Schools, for 200+ P3 aged children.

Minister Comes-Back

This evening the Academy and Spartans Women’s section will be hosting a visit from Kenny MacAskill (Justice Minister), Sheila Begbie (Head of Girls/Women’s Football)  and Anna Signeul (Women’s National Head Coach).  The purpose of the visit is to review the impact Cashback for Communities monies has had on developing the women’s game.
