The Spartans Community Football Academy

The Academy launched it’s latest community programme today, when it launched SFSP at lunchtime at St David’s Primary School.  On 2 x lunch breaks per week, recreational play will be facilitated and supported by our Academy Community Coaches.

The Academy was delighted to host the latest visit from the patron of our charity, Gordon Strachan (pictured left with our new full time member of staff Conor Edmonds) on Tuesday night.  The visit was the perfect opportunity to discuss and update Gordon on our plans for 2011 and beyond.

As part of our 2 year birthday celebrations, we have put together a short presentation to give people a flavour of just what the Academy has been up to.

The Academy was delighted to host a training camp for the Scottish Universities national Rugby squad on Sunday.

The Aademy is delighted to announce our latest fund raising initiative.  We have linked up with Personalised You, a new website  (www.personalisedyou.co.uk) which allows people to purchase personalised products such as calenders, photos, books stationery and greeting cards. 10% of every sale (before VAT and carriage) will be donated to the Academy where a unique code - SPAR01 – has been entered in the voucher code box.
