A new community pitch at The Academy

 

Our community pitch is almost 10 years old. As we mark a decade at Ainslie Park the relaying of the pitch is a perfect way to celebrate. The new state of the art surface will be the first of it’s type in Scotland and with a new pitch we can look forward to another 10 years of supporting our teams, schools, community and youth work projects at Ainslie Park.

Over the next 6 weeks the rubber and sand will be shaken out of the old surface and the 3G “grass” will be cut up and removed. Some of the old pitch will find a new life in other local community venues. We are hopeful that our shiny new surface will be complete by the end of July.
