Fun fuelled February Break!

During the February break our youth work team was delighted to run a packed timetable of activites. This included our Fun Fuelled Clubs, Making Magic Memories trips our regular youth clubs - FooTEA, Girls' Group, Boys' Group, STEM Club, and Breakfast Club.

Our Fun Fuelled Clubs ran Monday-Friday including a P4-P7 group and an S1-S4 group. We had a variety of activities on offer each day such as biscuit decorating, slime making, painting, baking, board games, football, and making pizzas. Our amazing Chef Margaret prepared lunch for us every day!

We had some amazing Making Magic Memories trips. We went to Laser Quest - it was great to see everyone having great fun with each other and the staff. We also went ice skating with Girls' Club. This club has been growing over recent months and this was our first chance to have a trip together. For some it was a first experience of ice skating, so it was great to see young people trying something new with their friends. Making Magic Memories trips do just that - make memories but also allow the building of relationships and friendships and a sense of belonging.

We continued our normal youth clubs during the February break allowing continuity and ensuring that young people had a safe space to play with their friends during the holidays. It also helped keep the young people in a routine and ensured they were getting out and about rather than staying at home!

We had an amazing week, making magic memories and we are looking forward to creating more memories in the Easter Holidays ðŸ˜Š
