"Still Kicking" is our football fitness session for women of all abilities and experience levels. This weekly hour-long session on a Thursday evening is free of charge - just turn up and enjoy the fun! We've got boots available if you need to borrow some. "I first started coming along through a friend. She had been going for a few weeks and raved about it! We both have daughters at the same football club and she knew I played as a child and adult. I'm so happy to have the opportunity to get back into football. It's been great to meet new women, get challenged each week and improve my fitness. I like the chat from all the group too! I had been coming along for around 6-9 months before we had to stop for a whole year because of the pandemic. I missed it SO much! It's the best thing you will do for yourself! As mums we prioritise everyone else in the family. Some people come with a friend. It keeps you accountable as you're more likely to go each week if someone else is counting on you to go.
Just two weeks ago I FINALLY succeeded in the Crossbar challenge! I was always centimetres away and was getting frustrated. Jude told me to keep practising and within minutes I did it!"
