Still Kicking is our football fitness session for women of all abilities. This weekly session on a Thursday evening from 7-8pm is free of charge - just turn up and enjoy the fun. We've got boots if you need to borrow a pair. For more info contact Robyn.
I first started coming along through a friend. She had been going for a few weeks and raved about it.We both have daughters that play in the same club and she knew that I use to play football. I'm so happy to have had the opportunity to get back into the sport. It's been great to meet new people and to challenge my fitness and skill every week. I like the chat from the group and missed it so much during the pandemic. For anyone thinking about coming along I can totally recommend it - it's the best thing that you can do for yourself. As a mum we prioritise everyone else in the family. It's good to do something for me. I like the fact that I come along with a friend - it's keeping me accountable!
Two weeks ago I FINALLY managed the crossbar challenge - I was always just centimetres away and I was getting so frustrated. The encouragement from Jude and the group gave me the boost that I needed!
