Spartans Connections is the para football section of The Spartans Football Club and is delivered in close partnership with the Spartans Community Football Academy. We welcome players who have a wide range of disabilities including physical and learning difficulties and mental health challenges.
Connections provides skill and fitness-focused football training sessions in a fun, social atmosphere. We welcome players aged 16+. We have 5 teams that compete in the Scottish Football Association Pan Para-Football Leagues and national competitions. Our teams are mixed gender although we are actively looking to recruit more women to join us. In 2018-2019 Spartans Connections Whites team are the current Premier league champions. The Royal Blues finished mid-table of the Championship Division 1 and the Sky Blues finished as runners-up in league 1. Our Reds team finished 4th in league 1. We are looking forward to a successful 2019/20 season and welcome new members to come and join us.
If you are looking for wheelchair or powerchair football, please contact Lothian Disability Sport to find out what's available in Edinburgh.

Come and enjoy walking football with us every Monday from 12-1pm. Changing rooms open at 11.30pm. All you need is a pair of moulded studs or blades and if you don't have any, we have some that you can borrow if you need them. Walking football is open to all adults and is a great low impact way to keep fit and meet new people. We all enjoy a cuppa in the cafe afterwards. £2 per week.
